Hi,
I'm selling my old trusted main banjo since I'm looking forward to ordering a wider neck banjo.

My BR has the normal traditional 32mm nut width but I have noticed that with my fingers I can
play melodic clawhammer more fluently with a more guitar like neck.

So, everything is fine with my Bart Reiter except minor finish checking that you can
see in the photos and, of course, the fact that the banjo is here in Finland.

I owned a 1993 F F Professional (which may have been # 938) and currently own a 1993 Grand Concert # 936. Both with the 8 hole resonator . The FF Pro was much fancier with back strapping and a Chubby Dragon on a bound peghead with a 34 MM nut width. I also own a Regent and looking for a Tu-Ba-Phone.

Seppo, I am curious if yours has the Bacon tone ring or the "hot rod" combination ( as was on my #938) of the Bacon with the Whyte Laydie tone rings. I believe John may have one of these.

Locally there is a Professional model (model below yours) with the standard peghead and 2 hole resonator and an FF Pro (model above yours) with backstrapping, 8 hole resonator and a carved neck for sale. Both at considerably higher prices, neither in as good a condition as yours.

Every one of Bart's Internal Resonator models seems to be unique. Coupled with their quality and tone and playability make them highly desirable and collectible

I added more photos from last summer when I had the banjo opened. There's the tone ring upside down etc.

The two Reiter banjos are at a store called Cripple Creek Music in Ashland, Oregon, USA . This is near interstate Hiway 5, 10 miles north of the California border.

The Professional , which has the standard peg head , is $2895, and the FF Professional (which they are calling a Grand Concert) has a back strap and compass inlay, Chubby Dragon on the peg head, fancy fingerboard inlays and carved heel with an inlaid thistle on the heel cap. It is $4295. Both are heavily checked and need cleaning and set up. Both have skin heads.

I have an original Reiter Banjo brochure that is specific to the Internal Resonator models. If you would like me to make a copy I can send it to you. It show the "Professional", the "Grand Concert" and the "FF Professional". It gives details on each model. Howeber I have seen combinations of features fron all three on all three models.

The "Professional" is the easiest to identify as it has the standard peghead shap. The Grand Concert and FF Professional share the same
peghead shape. One of the main differences between the Grand Concert and the FF Professional in the brochure was the "Chubby Dragon" on the FF Pro peg head and fancier wood. However I have seen the Chubby Dragon on other models and fancy wood on other models also. Another difference was fancier fingerboard inlays on the FF Pro. Mine had simpler Grand Concert inlays per my request.
