Richard Childress beat Kyle bush up after the truck race.  He went over and started the altercation with Kyle.  He blacked both of Kyle's eyes and hurt Kyle bad.  Nascar suspended Kyle f rom racing , due to the fact he was already on probation from the harvick incident.  Not  right. I am thru with this fiasco of nascars.  Micki

Kyle Busch lost all my respect  when he deliberately destroyed that beautiful presentation Gibson guitar. I couldn't  care less if he never races again.

They put Childress and the pit crew guys that helped him in jail.  drunk and disorderly conduct.  The thing about the guitar was wrong.  But Kyle bought 250 of those guitars and gave them to underpriviledged kids to play in bands at school.  Regardlless of who the victim was, nobody deserved what they did to Kyle out of jealousy and greed. Joe Gibbs is the only one who makes mention of all the charitable good Kyle does.Kyle never blows his own horn.   Micki

I was unaware Kyle did that. I feel better about him. Thanks for the info.

Sportcenter said that this won't effect Kyle's suspension, and he will race tomorrow. This is good stuff and make things interesting and worth following. If everyone hugged eachother, raced clean, never wrecked eachother and just went around in loving circles under rainbows while roses bloomed... well, then it wouldn't be any more interesting than bowling or golf.

You are so rigfht.   I felt better about Nascar doing the right thing .

they had a news conference after the race and said this is not about Kyle Bush, it's about Richard Childress.  It was 30 minutes after the race, and childress's driver had already won.  I could not figure out why he would jeopardize hisself, with money problems already, with Nascar.  I also wondered why harvick's pitt crew was helping hold Kyle down and taking pictures of the beating.  Childress will be watching the races at home for a while according to nascar.  they are really gonna stick some penalties on him now.   guess he just lost it,  but he only hurt hisself in the eyes of Nascar.   I am not taking sides, but no matter how much one dislikes another, right is right, and wrond is wrong and childress went over and broke into Kyles hauler to do premeditated harm.    Not good or sportsman like for sure.  They scared Kyles's wife to death.  At of all places . that is like a home away from home.  Micki

I smell litigation in the air.

There is a very simple explanation . . . Controversy equals viewers and increased attendance . . . equals $$$!

Absolutely...follow the money. NASCAR evidently wants all that WWF money too!

Next thing you know, they'll be wearing Mexican Wrestling masks. I think I'll stick to F1, at least the snobs there have style. bigevil

Just so you know, I am not a Kyle fan but he came to Berlin Race way a couple years ago in Grand Rapids Mi  to support Johnny Benson s track and it  is my understanding he went to Spectrum hospital and visited the children there and signed autographs and took pictures and gave out  tickets to MIS. He did this without any publicty no camerasjust sayin Jim

It's likely we don't know the whole story, imo.

I like the European and Australian Supercar series,Lemans,Sebring and the Formulas much more than Nascar roundy-round.There's so much more to the race when it turns both ways and goes up and down hills.

Now there's going to be a Formula 1 track in Texas...YAY!

To me, it was the most uncalled for, stupid act I have ever seen anyone do.  No reason as I see.  Fords are the best this year , his teams are the best and have won the most races.  One of his teams won the truck race.  Kyle struggled all night to come in 6th position.  Joe Gibbs had every right  to be there and make sure this never happens again and all the teams are safe at the tracks.  With a person of this nature running wild and committing a crime on Nascar's home turf, they have penalized Childress $150,000 and on probation till Dec. 21st of this year. So evidently money is not the issue here or his cars. Sounds like an ego trip of some sort, and his drivers are really getting away with insulting all drivers.  HARVICK CALLED MONTOYA AN IDIOT AND STARTED TO PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE AT A ROAD TRACK LAST YEAR.  HE TRIED TO PUNCH KYLE IN THE FACE A COUPLE OF RACES BACK AND TORE UP BIG DADDY'S CAR HISSELF BY GETTING OUT OF IT TO DO HARM TO KYLE .   HE TRIED TO FIGHT JOEY LOGANO AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON.  WORLD CLASS, AND INDY CAR CHAMPIONS ARE NOT IDIOTS.  SOUNDS LIKE HIS GUYS ARE JEALOUS AND CHILDRESS COMES DOWN HARD ON THEM , BECAUSE HE NOT ONLY WANTS A CHAMPIONSHIP, BUT HE EVIDENTLY IS LOOKING FOR ANOTHER EARNHART SENIOR TO BEAT EVERYONE WITH .  GOOD LUCK!  miCKI

With respect, Nascar isn't racing. It's motorized wrestling. I mean, "competition yellows?" Whoever heard of such a thing. Ridiculous. You want racing, check out something like the Australian V-8 Supercars.

Kyle was not disciplined at all. He was not the one who started it. Richard Childress was fined $150,000 and put on probation for the rest of the season, and restricted as to where he can and can't go while at the races.

Childress told Kyle some time back, that if he didn't quit running into his cars and tearing them up, he was going to personally do something about it. That donut Kyle put on one of Childress' trucks after the race was the last straw. He did exactly what he told Kyle he was going to do. $150,000 is chump change to Childress, and he enjoyed every dollars worth.

It is racing Jon.  It's also entertainment.  People want to see duels between racers not a parade of fancy vehicles passing by.

Major league racing is a tough profession.  My friends who were on stage Rockers seemed to know and share the wild swings of highs and lows.
