They just had his trial today.  He said he was sorry several times to all.  His wife was with him and he  was clocked at 3 different speeds, so he slowed it down and had complete control of the car.  He doesn't drink or anything bad, he just loves speed too good.  Micki

He may be a winner on the track, but he does not have a winning attitude off the track. Certainly not someone that I would want my kids looking up to.

Well, he's only doing it as part of his sentence. Not out of the goodness of his heart!

 Very true Micki.  Glad you pointed that out.  He also regularly brings the kids to the tracks.

I am of the opposite opinion.  He's a driver I'm glad my kid roots for, along with a few others.  He's brash.  He speaks his mind.  He's a very talented driver.  He gives back to the community.  He's also maturing.  Many of us could have been considered "jerks" in our early 20's..........

He's a refreshing change from the "All too politically correct crowd".

Well call me "politically correct" for having this view (what a crock of an accusation) for thinking that KB should not be idolized when he's proven himself reckless off the track. Plenty of reckless and stupid athletes have "foundations," but what does that prove? Mike Tyson had a "foundation;" you want to idolize him? If he wants to be reckless and kill himself, that's his business, although his wife was in the car also.

I respect him for all he's accomplished in his chosen field, but he should NOT be allowed to drive on the roads with everyone else. It's OK to break the law as long as it is midnight? Give me a break!

Some people need to learn why we have laws and that those laws apply to everyone.

He broke the law.  He is paying the price.   Or was that fact missed in all of this?

That's why we have opinions.   The analogy with Kyle Busch to Mike Tyson is way off base at this point.  Tyson never learned.  Let's see what Kyle Busch does.
