New "IS TO" game a variation on the ongoing word association game, simple enough,

could be little testing though, follow along in reply using a two line sentence see the two examples.

Rules:  Double posting of the *same word* on the *same page* is *not allowed*  all gamers are permitted to carry out punishments as necessary..

Cat is to milk

as milk is to cow

------------------------------------

Cow is to field

as field is to play

------------------------------------

Roxy--I'm not sure I get it. If these are analogies (as used on some exams), it should go something like:

Cat is to milk (A cat likes milk) as...

Dog is to kibble (dog likes kibble..or in my dog's case: as dog is to its own poop)

The next might continue:

Dog is to kibble as ... (dog eats kibble)

Woodpecker is to beetle (woodpecker eats beetle)
----------------

OR, using the last word in the analogy:

Beetle is to BMW:: Miracle Whip is to mayonnaise

---------------- then...

mayonnaise is to mustard:: sugar is to spice

---------------

spice is to girl:: beastie is to Boy

Well yes Cornflake, thanks your input/clarity for us gamers, let’s see if it picks up as I first described, or more as similarity or comparability as you say? ..Doesn’t really matter {I think}….as long as a post includes a two word sentence? in reply, and continues onwards..Let’s see if there is any interest in this stimulating game?..I hope so...
