Maple neck, teak salad bowl (Thrift shop, maybe $3).



PING tuners, buttons replaced with dice from Dollar Tree ($0.80, since there are 5 to a package).



Beef bone bridge and top nut.



Head is a P.E.T.E plastic lid from one of those raw veggie trays,

Very nice, Mike.  I've been collecting a lot of PETE for banjo heads- the standard soda bottles to the food tray lids etc..  But alas, I have no time this summer to build banjos.



Steve J, you shrink the PETE with heat (hair dryers work fine).  They are very sturdy and sound good.
