I have been thinking about this design for several years and have been working on it solid for the past three months.

My new ukulele is styled after the "Camp Uke" and named "Lo-Lo-Mi" which sounds Hawaiian but is actually a Hopi word which means peace.  

 Several improvements were made on the Camp Uke design, some borrowed from the banjo including a bolt on angled and scooped neck.

The sides are laminated of two pieces each 3/64", steam bent and glued in a form. 

Also adding a tune I wrote for the new Uke.

My son, a drummer at heart, decided to learn uke to be able to play with his guitar playing wife (and his banjo thumping Dad).

This might make a nice gift that more closely unites our musical interests.

So, I'm interested in the hard economic facts, too.  How much, etc.

Richard, Most sweet!  It appears that Sedona is agreeing with your creative juices.  Very nice detailing, I like the appointments like the asymmetrical heart sound hole that echoes the neck scoop asymetry.  It's those little details that push a design from being utilitarian to making the instrument a well-thought out and beautiful concept.  Kudos to a great job!

I've been very busy getting ready for a festival in Flagstaff (Pickin' in the Pines) where my wife and I will be setting up this weekend for three days to display my instruments but wanted to respond to questions. I didn't have time to give many details about these instruments but will do that next week when we return from the festival.
