Hello, friends! I've just played another Uzbek tune on my banjo
Its name is "Andijan Polka" - it's the most popular Uzbek traditional dance here in my country

I think what has not been mentioned enough is the enormous amount of practice and dedication to your music and playing you must be doing in order to rise to the level of skill you have achieved. There's some intricate fingerwork going on.
It would be nice to have sheet music and a midi or ABC file for this one.

Just so happy for you. Janna you are a born banjo player and are exceptionally good. Bluegrass is just one of the banjo forms but there are so many beautiful ways to play the banjo.

I'm in a similar (or opposite?) situation - I'm American and play old-time but live in Istanbul, and just had my first chance to sit with good old-time musicians a couple of weeks ago on a trip back to the states. It's hard to learn far from the source, but you can do it. Keep listening and playing!

Marvelous stuff, really melodic and flows really nice. Also, what bhniko said. Playing other music on the banjo is great - my dad shocks people sometimes by playing really difficult Irish stuff on the 5 string which isn't written for banjo. I'll upload some when we do some new vids :)
