I got this long neck on eBay recently and did a little rehab job on it. Surprisingly it didn't require much - a new head, some modern tuners, a little cleaning, and some set up. Very little fret wear.
I had thought about adding a tubaphone tone ring to it, but after I played it, decided that it really was loud and bright enough the way it is. If someone buys it and really wants a tuba ring in it, I will recut the rim and install one for $200. Or a white lady ring for $185.
The neck has a few finish scrapes, but is in good condition for 50 years old. The playing action is amazing. About 1/64 in. of neck relief. Low action with no buzzing. That's tough to do on a long neck.
$800 plus shipping. If you don't like it, I will take it back. Buyer pays shipping both ways.
