Archtop! Definitely lively! A little hard to really tell. Sounds like it may have been too loud for the mike input on your camera. Not sure if that's what was causing what sounded like excessive sustain or what. The real test might be whether or not it can hold it's own in a jam. Nice pickin'.

That ball bearing sounds very good,nice picking man.

Well I have mine all set finally,and I am loving it.

I have a walnut neck on it,I like it better than the mahogany,so far.

don't worry about that, try to get it set up where it sounds like Jim Reeds,I would love to have one,they have a unique sound.If you want a flat head sooner or later you will get there.

there is a wideness in bass and ability to take punishment, that can only be found in a flat head,and with your hard picking, your ball bearing is getting a little over loaded kinda maxing out here and there .But it has a unique  rich  depth of  mid and high sounds,  when you let the ring and springs echo.I would get me a flat head to slaughter,and try to see how much i could make that one play pretty   --my opinion,actually i have never played one just listened here-- Tom
