Hi, Folks--



I have a hide head that was put away in a non-ziploc plastic bag (sealed better than I would have guessed, though) while it was a little damp and didn't realize it would stay damp long enough to grow mold/mildew; but that is what has happened.  Can I use a Clorox wipe to remove the mold/mildew or is there something better?  The head still has not been installed but I could plan to do it when I treat it since it will probably be damp again at that point.  Constructive advice appreciated.  (Already looked in the archives and didn't find anything relevant in this instance.)

Finding mold, mildew,etc, on a skin head can be startling & disappointing, but a good swipe with a q-tip soaked in Chlorox can easily solve the problem.    I've encountered this many times, & have never ruined a head,  or had the growth return.

Thanks, tdennis!  The problem isn't real bad, so I will see what just wipes off with a wet cloth and then finish with your technique.
