Hello dear friends and Happy New Year!!!
I used to be all over this place, but alas, I'm not banjoing as much so I'm elsewhere, but the BHO will always be my home away from home.
Anyways, many of you may remember that I'm been known to be the go-to guy for Ome Juggernauts banjos. And I wanted to share a very nice one on ebay right now.
It's a pretty rare bird as it is WALNUT instead of Rosewood or Maple, the two more common woods for banjos of this vintage. It's a 1985 and is based on what I see in the photos, it's priced very well. It's got the later 20 hole tone ring which is a tone monster. It has clearly been played quite a bit and so expect some fretwear. The seller answered a question immediately and so I think he's a "stand up guy".---ooops! Just realized Ken is a member here as well as a member of my Juggernaut owner's group! yay!!!
Here's the direct link. I have no vested interests, financial or otherwise, just wanted to share a wonderful instrument that needs a good home and I'd like to see it with one of you BHO members!
