My grandpa Arvil Shrader built banjos using Honda wheels looking for any pics. My profile picture has him playing his wheel banjo

Welcome to the HangOut.
Hard to tell from the picture.
A bit small.
Is it a wheel, or is it a hubcap?
And is it from a Honda car or a Honda bike?
I've made banjos from (including but not limited to) cookie tins, salad bowls, hubcaps, a slice of a cylinder from a heart/lung machine, a wooden sewing basket, a piston ring liner from a diesel locomotive, a pressure cooker...
Your grand sounds like my kind of guy!

You wouldn't happen to have any CLUE as to where the banjo is NOW, would you?

I remember seeing one of these Honda wheel banjos for sale on eBay some decades ago-maybe the 90s or early 2000s. I don't remember anything about price, seller, etc. It struck me as an odd thing.

I think my aunt has that one. He made several of them my dad has one and some of my cousins have there own. I plan on building one for myself when I can afford all the parts. Everyone should check out my dad on YouTube (my banjo picking brother starla hall) or (fox mountain express) his name is Kevin Schrader....I've heard of the one on eBay alot online I would love to find it.
