Hi everyone,

My name is Zak and I work at Griffin's Auctioneers based in the midlands UK.

We have an upcoming antique sale tomorrow and I wanted to draw your attention to two banjos that are going under the hammer. They are lot numbers 232 and 233, estimated at 250-350 pounds.

The banjo's in question are Langstile Deluxe archtop banjo, c.1920s. To view them online search griffin's auctioneers and click through to our most recent catalogue.

I am unable to post the link as this is my first post on this forum.

You can register to bid through our website to.

We do offer shipping so we are able to send all over the world.

If you have any questions or queries please feel free to call on 01926 505012.

The auction starts at 10am GMT tomorrow, so get your bids in quick if you're interested! You can also bid live if you want to watch the auction.

Thank you for taking the time to read this,

Zak

I was curious so I tracked down the links. The two tenors:

Actually one is a piectrum and the other a (19-fret) tenor. Interesting!

I stand corrected.  I'm admittedly lost when the banjo doesn't have a fifth string, or ukulele tuning.

I've moved your thread off the Swap Shop to the Shopping forum. One must have a classified ad on the Hangout to post in the Swap Shop.
