A Mr. Pedersen posted a long list of his videos in newest additions, which blocked out others that were there previously. I sent him a polite PM about it but he hasn’t responded. Hope I’m not being nitpicky, but fair is fair.
This happens occasionally. Usually, once someone (you in this case) sends them a polite note about the problem, that takes care of it and it won't happen again.
If it does continue to happen, then we mods will contact him and suggest he space his videos out more.
A technical solution to this might be allowing us to view more recent additions. I don't see a reason to limit us to only 15 on the media page and 20 on the search page.
"newest videos" could link to a paginated list of all media sorted by descending date
As a newbie to BHO some years ago I was guilty of that but didn't know better. No one corrected me but I figured it out watching others do what I had been guilty of. I never repeated that. If I have a bunch to post (it;s been a while) I space them out over days or weeks.
I agree with Drum-On-A-Stick's suggestion. Why not have a "more" link which lands you on another page which just lists all the new additions without restrictions. Folks do care about this stuff and as it is, is pretty limiting IMO. Once it's off the list it ain't so easy to find.
You should have been around back when there were only half that many windows on the new vid page--we don't even get that many new vids now days--
I was one of those that Mr' peterson bombed but I didn't even feel offended--My vid was on top but had --pretty much run it's course--I just started checking out his wonderful stash--though years ago I would have been one of --the first too cry--
If my vid was still gaining I could delete and re submit-especially if Nashville had been trying to reach me-more than the usual amount--

If this was directed at me ... I've been here 10 years longer than you Tom! I *was* here ... if you were directing this to Chuck, he's been here 3 years longer than you! I think we've seen it all! Gosh ... I suddenly feel much older LOL. No harm, no foul, Tom. But it's not a bad idea Drum-On-A-Stick suggests, he's got some great ideas and has the best intentions for this site. I think he's earned his creds, as has Chuck, just a personal observation.. No offense intended towards anyone else, I think you all know this.

after a little thought I actually did make the post to make Mr Peterson feel welcome because I figured he was about done cleaning his shelves--and when he had got to this point in the forum --he would have been feeling -about 2inches tall

I agree with you Tom, I too don't harbor ill feelings, hard to convey via the internet. I just think it's a good idea to allow new posts to be accessible for as long as someone is willing to click a "See More..." link.
