Tongue-in-cheek .... maybe ... IF there's a minimum quota on moronic questions. ![]()
Like the ones that seem commonplace in online garage sale sites.
Eg: "For sale .... '58 Chev half ton with inline 6 and .... etc. .... Firm at $6000."
#1) Is that a car or a truck? #2) What's the price? #3) Is it a V8??
And now back to regular programming................

Indeed the right info is most important Al , but having to ask can give u some idea of who u are dealing with & their knowledge if any of the instrument .

This exists. BHO already has a marketplace. You can easily set up a listing as an auction.
1937 RB-3. Bidding starts at 5k. Offers will be accepted until MMDDYY HH:MM, at which point the highest bidder will be contacted to close the sale.
You can add additional terms from there.

You can only post classified ads if the item is available to be sold on the Hangout, not by a third party. Also, banjos must be posted separately. So that would negate auctions for multiple instruments as far as I can tell.
Here's rule 2: Banjos for sale must be listed individually. This allows people to search the classified banjo listings by make, price, etc.
Items listed in any other categories (such as Banjo Accessories) do not require individual listings, although that is usually a good idea if you want maximum exposure for your listing.
And here's Rule 5: Listings for items which can only be purchased through a third-party website are prohibited.

Creating and administering rules and adjudicating issues with auctions are tricky and can be time consuming. Both good reasons for not having auctions on BHO. That’s what eBay is for, but that’s a whole ‘nother thing.
