Having trouble with this lick. i think it starts on the 6th fret but it is so one sting I cant do it with any speed. so..obviously I have it wrong.
Hold what you got J.D Crow playing with Jimmy Martin. Any advice or tab fragment would be appreciated.

Well, I think I'm on to something:
I wrote down two possibilities for playing this lick (as I'm hearing it)..
One is mostly single string from different 'boxes' (areas on the neck, spanning several frets), close to what I think, J.D. played.
In the other, I let my imagination fly, played a different position in the first bar and replaced the single string ending by the same notes, but in melodic style.
I slowed down the soundfile a bit more so you can hear all the notes clearly. Here it is.
And this is the tab (I wrote both RH and LH fingers for every note).
