Picked up a Bacon and Day banjo recently and it needs some adjustments for the soft pedal and haven’t seen much info on getting these set right. When I press it, sometimes it stays about halfway on the head and have to open it up all the way with my hand instead of it springing it back on its own. Also it tends to pull the notes a bit sharp when fully engaged, is that normal?
