I recently bought, unseen, a parcel of Gibson spec banjo parts (not pre-war) from a charity organisation.
I think I paid a fair price or a bit more.
As it was a charity that offered support to ex military veterans who need help and support, I don’t mind if I paid over the odds.
I originally bought it as there was a tube and plate pot which I wanted for a project.
Amongst the various unbranded flathead tone rings was a Huber 20 hole ring marked Huber 092899.1
It may be unplated brass or it could be vintage gold plate. I’m not sure.
Can anyone shed any light on which Huber ring it is.
I intend to sell it and I would like to know what I will be offering.
I’ll try and upload some photos.
There was also another 20 hole gold plated ring with a stamp that I’m unfamiliar with.
I‘ll upload pics in another post.
Hopefully someone will recognise the stamp and will be able to advise.
Many thanks.
