Hi all. I have a Leedy resonator where the green plastic has shrunk and broken the wood in places. Does anyone know a good way to remove the shrunken plastic so I can reglue it? I assume there is no way to stretch the plastic back to the original size. Thanks in advance.

Leedy used several resonator designs. Is this the one with the curved flange in front and the plastic tucked into it from the back?

I have heated celluloid to flatten it, but have not tried to stretch it. Be very careful as celluloid is combustible and flammable.
