I'm trying to figure out the production year of my Langstile Deluxe, but I can't find a serial number on it. Does anyone have any info on what years the Deluxe was made or how to ID one?

The Langstile brand was introduced by 1924 and gone by the mid '30s. As far as I know, they were not serialized.

The Langstile Deluxe was produced later and is very different from the original Langstile (I, II, III, IV) that were built with 11-1/2 rims. I would estimate the Langstile Deluxe was very late 1920's to early 30'. John Hoft might know, I can't seem to tag @beezaboy though.

That was going to be my follow-up question- anyone know what year(s) the Deluxe model was manufactured? I can't find much on the interwebs, but what little there is seems to specify 1927 if any year is given. Was it a very short-lived model- only a year or two of production?

I downloaded a chart many years ago titled, "Banjo Prices in the Twenties". There is mention of the Langstile, I, II, III, IV, but no mention of the "Deluxe". This may indicate that this model was made in the 30's.
