1926 TB-0 #8522-17 converted to five string by Robin Smith. I think Robin made some of the best playing necks. Nicely matched to the old resonator which is that Gibson dark red/brown. Nick Lucas inlay pattern. I bought the tenor to convert to a lighter weight banjo to travel with on occasion. You can see from the pot picture, there is no tone ring...just the brass hoop--still a good solid banjo with plenty of guts. If you have never played one of the vintage banjo with just a brass hoop, you would be surprised by the sound. Comes with a brand new case- never been out of the house. Gotoh two band tuning pegs. Punched prewar Presto tailpiece.
