Deering tone ring, made prior to 2006. Plating excellent. Weight is 3 pounds, 2 ounces, which many experts say is the ideal weight. The skirt has the notch, rather than a hole for the lag bolt, so it can be installed without removing the neck. The notch nickel plating is not disturbed and appears to be the way the ring was manufactured.
