For your consideration is an extremely rare and coveted example of the Greatest model ever made by the legendary Rich and Taylor banjo manufacturing company. This JD Crowe ( signed by JD Crowe on the inner rim label. ) model utilizes the Tennessee 20 tone ring which is preferable to the 10 hole Kulesh tone ring used in some of earlier models. Rich and Taylor switched to using the Tennessee 20 tone ring in all of their models finding it to be superior to the Kulesh 10 hole tone ring used by them previously. This is a highly collectible heirloom banjo that will appreciate substantially in value. The tone is nothing short of miraculous and is without a doubt one of the greatest post WW2 Bluegrass Banjos ever produced in the USA. HSC
