This Gibson converted now to a Style 3 is built around a 1926 Gibson Style 1 rim. The rim, F.O.N. 8523-10 was of the “bracket and shoe“ configuration and now fitted with a one piece flange. The pot assembly consists of Prucha nickel plated hardware and a Gibson presto tailpiece, and a Steve Ryan no-hole tone ring. The Prewar Style 3 mahogany resonator is by Steve Gill and the mahogany neck features a wreath inlay and fantastic profile. I’m not sure who made the neck, but it’s top notch quality. There was a brass plate in the rim with “Red Ryan Hood” hand engraved by the original owner. If you have any questions or desire additional pictures, don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking!
