Here is a very special banjo. It is a 1930 Epiphone "Earlton Masterbuilt" plectrum banjo. Searching online, I cannot find another one like it which leads me to believe it was a custom order. The metal is Gold-plated and heavily engraved and in great condition. The neck and resonator are "Brazillian Rosewood and are both hand-carved along the order of the fancy Gibson's of that period. The tuners and Tailpiece are newer , but all else seems to be original. it has a powerful tone and would sound great as a 5-string. If I was a plectrum player, this would be my keeper. The original case is also in great shape. Asking 4495.00 for this beauty + shipping & insurance. Thanks for looking, Mike in Minnesota
