1931 KK-11 pot assembly, Frank Neat neck, Huber Vintage tone ring
Posted By: LifeLongStudent (+22) | Rate Member
Gibson pre-war conversion banjo featuring a Frank Neat mahogany neck, Rickard tuners (5) with boxwood buttons, Prucha one piece flange and stretcher, and a Huber Vintage tone ring. Overall very good condition, plays great and sounds amazing like a good pre-war banjo should. The finish on the neck is worn from honest play wear especially in the first position. Frets have plenty of life remaining. Rickard tuners are the best available. Prucha hardware is the best available and has the best nickel plating. The Huber Vintage tone ring sounds just tremendous on this banjo.
No shipping on this one, it would be tragic if lost or damaged in shipping. Happy to provide additional pictures and answer your questions. Might possibly consider a trade for a high quality mandolin (Northfield, Gibson, etc).
