I am selling the rim, tube, and Sullivan nickel plated ball bearing to Flathead tone ring all together. The rim is in excellent condition. It hasn't been refinished and has a nice looking Kalamazoo Mastertone sticker on it. This came from a 1926 TB3 ball-bearing Gibson banjo. I originally purchased this from the banjo Warehouse. As you can see, the top side of the rim has had the holes filled in from the ball bearing hardware. I was told that this banjo was converted to five-string by Frank Neat, who also built the conversion neck that I have for it (not for sale). The tube is prewar metal original to the banjo. I don't have any other parts that are for sale except the presto tailpiece which is in a separate ad. F.O.N. 8482-149 with the patent applied for stamp. Here's your chance to have a 100 years of Gibson banjo awesomeness in your next build! Holler at me if you have any questions or want more pictures or whatever. This thing is cut for a two-piece flange, for clarification. $800 OBO.
