This may be a very common item for those who know all things Gibson, but this is the first I've seen in 50 plus years in the banjo world. Perhaps this will interest a collector of Gibson memorabilia.
When closed, all appears fine, but one hinge has lost it's contact point. The lid shows fine lines, but no separation.
If those of you that are more knowledgeable than I am, about Gibson incidental items such as this and feel that this is something that should go in the trash, please let me know.
