Gibson 1927 with its original No hole tone ring. This banjo was purchased from Buddy Wachter when still a tenor and sent to Frank Neat for a new conversion neck. Comes with as new Keith tuners on the 2nd and 3rd strings, as new HSC. Ready to go. I have the original TB3 neck and can include that as well. In addition to the photos you can hear how the banjo sounds by going to YouTube and typing in GIbson TB3 Conversion. It has the pre-war sound that attracted many of us to Scruggs and other legendary pickers. I am selling because I do not play much bluegrass banjo and when I do, not well. This professional quality banjo needs a new home. I have lowered my price to sell.
