FOR SALE:
This is a 1928 Gibson Style 1. This is a maple banjo. The seasoned wood in this prewar banjo gives it a great sound. I purchased the banjo from Mr. Don Bryant. It has one of his skirtless tone rings and was set up by Mr. Bryant and as always he did a great set up. The action is good and the banjo is a pleasure to play. The frets are in good shape and it has a 5/8" Davis Bridge. The banjo was originally owned by the banjo player for the band "Deeper Shade of Blue" and was played on stage. You will not find a better sounding and looking pre war banjo. The banjo comes with an Access Case and Lakota strap. I hate to part with it but I need to thin the herd.
