I had to relocate to another state for work and brought my banjo to pass the time. I haven't been able to practice because of the noise and don't want to be kicked out of my apartment. I just ordered Mike's Banjo Mute and I was wondering if anyone here has used it before?

lg9455 says: 2/19/2012 12:11:59 PM Yes I have one and highly endorse it. It will muste down to sound like an electric gutar without the amp. I think you will be very pleased with it. The mute is easy to use and doesn't get in the way when you are playing. I use it all the time. Good luck and good picken. Larry

	edhanzel says: 2/21/2012 6:54:38 PM If your banjo is an open back, you can roll up a hand towel and put it in the back. I also heard that putting a sponge bullet fom a nerf gun helps too. I am looking for one of those now in my sons room to try it out. I already use the towel, but it still is too noisy in the house, so bith might do the trick
	al-f says: 2/22/2012 6:43:21 AM just found another trick a folded scratch off ticket on of the longer ones, so i'm guessin a piece of cardboard would do until you could get a proper one

	Stardust says: 10/14/2013 1:48:30 PM I agree that Mike's Banjo Mute is well-worth the investment. I'm a beginning player who likes to play after-hours, so I bought one from Mike a week or two ago, and its the bomb!
