Good to be on this group

Ive been playing nearly 2 years and being honest havent mastered cripple creek. I learned it a bit wrong in the first place and have been practising it from the earl scruggs book.

Someone to lighten the dark passages and who may be able to set us each on our own right track. She's a player of many years standing and a well repsected member of the BHO community. Fingers crossed she'll join the group and start to talk some banjo playing sense into us.
	Texasbanjo says: 1/31/2011 8:23:00 AM Take it slow and steady. If you have either a metronome or some sort of sortware that has a beat, use it to insure that you have correct timing -- without correct timing, the song just won't sound right and you won't be able to play with others.

	Karen Kruske says: 2/18/2011 2:37:52 PM I'm just learning BG rolls and wonder if the notes for rolls will all be evenly spaced when playing a song. Or will there be sort of a galloping pace to them sometimes.
