I have been at it for about 3 1/2 months and can play a bunch of rolls a few songs but at practice time I seem to get into a rut. Is there any ideas out there that will help me get past this or will it go away with time. Thanks for any practice ideas.

My teach said I should work with a metronome since I have a need to stop and get it perfect before I move on. He says" you know the chords. Keep going and you'll get them right. Play music." I'm working on that and making small improvements.
	roadstar75 says: 1/17/2014 4:43:13 PM Doo you have a teacher? With out a teacher, someone to provide feedback encouragement and advice I would not be where I am after about 7 months. Not that I can actually play but practice has gotten better. Starting out lots of doubt and negative thinking occurs naturally, get a teacher.
