I have a great cassette "Indian Springs" by Kenny Baker and Blaine Sprouse that has Allen Shelton on banjo. (1988) The other musicians are Buck White, David Grier, and Terry Smith. Of course, the twin fiddles are featured but Allen gets a chance to shine on several numbers. My favorite is "Golden Slippers". The tune starts in key of A and Allen takes a really cool break. The tune then modulates to D. Allen does some awe inspiring up the neck back up behind the fiddles and then behind the mando break. Anybody else have this recording?

I have heard the record "Darkness on the Delta" by Kenny Baker, another twin fiddle recording, with Bobby Hicks, and Allen does some fine playing on that one as well. Will be on the lookout for "Indian Springs"!
