I've only listened to the first disc, Religious Music, in detail, but it's fantastic stuff, and includes one of my favorite tracks from Harry Smith's Anthology. The dates of the recordings vary, some old, some more recent: there is a beautiful recording of a solo singer, with the congregation churning in the background, at primitive Baptist service, which was recorded in the early 70's.
Some brilliant stuff to be heard. And I'm sure some great banjo on subsequent discs.
