Just wanted to say 'hello'

From tucsonsean on 2/10/2016 9:04:40 PM

I enjoy banjos, but not necessarily Bluegrass (clawhammer, mostly).  I own five banjos:  a 70s Wildwood (before the models had names), an early 12"  Gold Tone (when they were actually built in Florida), a new model frailer (cherry/patauk) with an internal resonator built by Mark Hickler, a 60's Gariepy 5-string, and a 60's Gariepy plectrum.  I'll check out this site regularly at first (although I'm in another group at the Hangout, and it's sometimes months or even years before any new postings).  If you live around Tucson and would like to get together, send me a post.

I live in Tucson and have 4 banjos. (MY husband says "that's enough"). I play bluegrass and clawhammer. Would love to get together to play clawhammer. I'm adylew and you can reach me through adyharp.com

Hey, Adylew--my wife says three is more than enough. Yes, let's plan a play-date. I played a lot back east but not much in the past 15 years or so. Just getting my game back and could use the incentive. BTW, have you ever gone down to the jam at Drexel? I've never been and was curious.
