I have been playing an Epiphone MB250 that Leon from Banjobrothers upgraded for me. Sounds and plays great, but I have been thinking about getting something with a Classy name on the headstock.

Please contact me if you have a 5 string resonator that I might consider. Interested in Gibsons, Stellings, Huber, Grundy etc...

	5strings3picks1banjo says: 8/10/2013 11:15:15 PM What's in a name if you don't get to talk with the builders. Your banjo sounds awesome so maybe consider having a neck made. Athur Hatfield, first Quality, etc and buy a resonator to match. I would rather own a banjo made by people you can talk to about it. Stelling, Sullivan, Yates, Hatfield etc. Can we ring Gibson and talk passionately to the builders? Maybe but I have never tried. You could also custom design your own neck if you wanted. Seriously your banjo may look like a Epiphone but I would rate it as good as mine and anything you will pay $4000 for. If you sell it call me. :)
	Banjojustin says: 8/19/2013 5:11:33 AM Check out Frank Neat in Kentucky. I got mine custom built last year. Whole project cost a bit under 4000. Frank knows banjos very well. Built the Gibson conversion necks for years and works with JD Crowe, Sonny Osborne and Jim Mills' instruments. I went over and met with him earlier this year. Couldn't meet a nicer guy. Oh, and the banjo is A1 quality!
