Need some HELP on this

From paddyirishman on 11/8/2012 6:22:32 PM

Hello people,

I hope somebody can help me out here.

I really need to know from you experts.

Is there a huge difference between a B & D Montana #4 and a B& D Sultana #1 ? If so what?

I really need to know pretty soon ,price wise,playing wise,investment wise etc.

Ill be happy to get some answers.

Thanks/ B

Hello B,
There was a real price difference between #1 and #4. Besides the cosmetical differences, the neck of the #4 gives it a better sustain. In my opinion, any b&d from #1 upward sounds great, if properly set up..
This site gives you a good clue about the value;

Wouter,

That article is filled with factual errors - too many to comment here. I´ve noticed Wayne about these.

Besides I do absolutely not agree with him about his estimates of value.

Brian,

I´m the guy first of all to tell you about the difference etc. - however I won´t - you know why - maybe you don´t really understand why - but that´s your problem.

Polle
