Hey All,
I recorded a song with my father's 1926 B&D NPU #6 RB. I have it tuned down to an open D (not the standard D tuning.) Similar to what John Hartford used to do. The strings were d-A-D-F#-A. Here is a link. I love the sound of this banjo as well as Diane's voice on this song.
