B&D parts photo archive

From budbennett on 9/20/2016 12:48:51 PM

I don't remember if I posted this or not here but I am doing a photo database of the parts of various banjos and I took apart my Silver Bell No1 and photographed all the parts in case anyone is interested in seeing what the parts look like in one of those without taking your own apart.  Pretty fascinating stuff I think.

Hi, I'm trying to find out the thickness of the rim on a Silver Bell. I know they are thinner at the top for the tonering and bottom to fit the resonator but what is the thickess part in the middle, like 5/8 or 3/4?
