I have a lady friend who is adamant about me not putting my Reso-Tone in "plastic". She claims putting phenolic plastic in any kind of plastic container will detroy it. This based on her previous experience with Bakelite collectibles.
I'd like to take my Reso-Tone out and about, but most gig bags are made of some sorta plastic-based material (nylon, polyester, etc). Consequently, I've been looking for an all-cloth canvas (non-plastic) gig bag. Or, should I even be worried?
Any Reso-Tone owners with a different experince, I'd love to hear from them. ;)
