I had the music store I deal with exclusively, order in a BUB for me. I already have a Soprano (gold hardware), and a Lanikai Concert. I also ordered a Fiberskyn head for it. Fiberskyn heads are what I always use for my style of playing. I really want to try it with a high "D," CAN'T HARDLY STAND THE WAIT!

	LizWil says: 3/3/2015 11:06:07 AM Congratulations on the new banjo uke. I'm curious to know how you would describe your style of playing and why you like fiberskyn heads. I'm experimenting these days - I just replaced the skin head on my Slingerland soprano BU with a fiberskyn head and am quite pleased with the sound. I hope you'll report back about how it goes with your new acquisition.

I tend to do a banjo type roll when I play "river boat" style songs like Hartfords Gum Tree Canoe, Oldtime Riverboat Man, All In My Love For You, and Tall Buildings. I got this index finger "wiggle" as one player said when I stum, but do add a thumb for double string stuff. Isn't it fun to find your own style! I'm still try'n to figure out how to post a video or two here, might take one with more computer smarts than me!
