Just wondered if anyone had discovered this DVD. It does what it says on the tin Really. I've found it very useful as it outlines some of Tony's ideas on just how best to spend your precious practice time.

Tony's basic advice is that you split your practice time into:

Warming up with rolls and rolling over different chord positions.

Practising songs from your repertoire to improve and keep fresh.

Learning new material.

Freeform experimentation to free up your playing.

I am an experienced musician but kind of a novice on banjo. I know the basics but just need to build strength and fluency on the instrument. Any help or opinions are appreciated.
NickC says: 4/8/2011 7:17:12 AM I've been a member for 4 months now. Well worth it in my opinion. It's an inspirational place to be. I'm surprised by just how involved Tony is in the School. You can message tony with any question and he'll get back to you. You get a real insight into his playing/mind etc.. You can send in videos of your playing and you get a personalised video back.. which is a big thrill to say the least. pm. me if you want to know more. Nick
