Being in the market a few weeks ago for a new banjo I did a lot of research. I saw many good reviews on the Bishline banjo, including reviews on the Bishline Owners page. I had narrowed down my choices to three different banjo brands when I made my trip to Banjo.com in Atlanta. The Bishline Heirloom in walnut took me home! This is the best banjo I have ever owned as far as playability and finish and sound. The thinner neck and slightly wider neck fit my short fingers perfectly. I was so impressed that I have Rob and Andy building a custom for me right now. A hybrid of sorts..........maple banjo with ebony Heirloom pattern peghead, rosewood fingerboard with Clermont inlay pattern, cremona finish but with an extra black and white stripe on the fingerboard and resonator trim. I also joined this group so I can be part of the support group playing Bishline banjos. These are definitely banjos I intend to keep and pass down to my family. I have two more items on my wish list.......a mahogany Bishline custom and a Madera.
