After my 2nd half of payment went through, Rob was finished & it was here in just a couple of weeks. I absolutely love this banjo! IMy only other banjo is a Deering Deluxe, which is nice, but the Barnes is def more for me. It's got a very sweet tone, feels like a toy in weight which is perfect for me with my neck problems, plus of course Rob's "superb craftmanship"!! IThe only thing is I wanted rr spikes & the Barnes truss rod cover as is on pics on the site but it showed up without spikes & a plain truss cover. They said no problem on sending me the Barnes cover, but I'm s.o.l on the spikes. I've got to give it up for a couple of days & PAY for them to get done which sucks (I'm not about to do them myself). UPDATE 2/4/2014: Rob sent me the Barnes truss cover & $10 for spikes. YAY!!
