Had a great time at Stony Plain. First BG Fest for me in 26 years. Picked a bit into the wee hours Sat. And Sun. As for Canadiana,Suzy Boguss sang "Some Day Soon" ,James King sang "Thirty Years of Farming" and mentioned Fred E as he introduced it. Herb Pedersen (with the John Jorgensen Bluegrass Band) mentioned listening to a lot of Lightfoot during one of his songwriting periods. Herb and Kenny Ingram did the Sunday banjo workshop - super!
