Hello, fellow Cello Banjo Pluckers,

Has anyone changed out the nylon top string to metal on the 4 String Gold Tone? I'm thinking of getting one of their Sliding Magnetic Pickups, and I understand they don't work with synthetic strings. Plus, I've never been 100% pleased with the tone of the nylon string. Any advice from my fellow pluckers?
