tighten thine head
I find that I need to tighten the heads on these - all the way down to the end of the threads - to get optimum clarity in this loooooowww range.

tunings with the medium gauge Gold tone strings
Gold Tone says that the medium strings are for g and double c tunings. Can I also safely tune this same set of medium strings up to a and double d?
