Hi all. I've been playing clawhammer style banjo for a while, guitar for even longer. I am well versed in blues and old-time music, but I'm really interested in Celtic banjo, specifically for tenor banjo.

I've found great books, but who are the folks I should be listening to, whether they play banjos or any other instrument? I'm really focused on learning traditional Scottish and Irish folk music.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

	AlpacaLips says: 11/1/2015 6:58:33 PM I'm about where you are. Haven't gotten into Celtic yet but I'd like to. There's some pretty amazing Celtic banjo playing by John Carty, who plays in the band Patrick Street.
