I've decided to start this group as a place to share resources about guitar tuned banjo.

Seems like we could use a place where info on this tuning is gathered in one place.

I have a few books I'm going to recommend and some chord charts to share.

Feel free to add content!

Some people say this is not a legitimate tuning for the banjo. Bull! I've seen over a dozen alternative tunings over the years. At least Chicago tuning makes sense and opens the door to many creative chord choices.

Hi Chris,,,, Excellent Idea, I have an old Savana tuned like this, I play guitar and ukulele, and I have two ukulele banjo's, I have been trying to learn some chord melody playing, that Baritone Book looks a great Idea, I never thought of using anything like that. Thank you so much for the idea, and info. Pete.
